Welcome, welcome, welcome LGBTQ and allies community! Summer may be ending, alas, but Pride is just
about to get started. See you in Burlington on Saturday, Sept. 22, for the Vermont Pride Parade and Festival!
At the festival, stop by the Vermont Freedom to Marry table, say hello, and participate in and share your ideas on the nationwide movement toward marriage equality!
The day kicks off at noon when the Pride Parade commences down Church Street, wending its way to Battery Park. The Festival in Battery Park begins at 1 p.m., including performances, food, vendors, and a chance to be photographed for the NOH8 Campaign. The night before, there's a Lake Champlain cruise, and later Saturday is a Bear Tea event to benefit Pride at Red Square -- plus parties-parties-parties!
Be an extra-hot item by volunteering for Pride (email director@pridevt.com).
