Our neighbors need our help.
This November, marriage is on the ballot in Maine. And it's a big deal - if a majority of Mainers vote YES on 1 on Election Day, Maine will be the first state to ever win marriage for same-sex couples at the ballot.
It's potentially a watershed moment for the entire marriage movement, but the polls show that this race is neck-and-neck. Maine will win or lose the freedom to marry based on how many volunteers are on the ground, knocking on doors and talking to voters between now and Election Day.
That's why marriage supporters in Vermont are teaming up with United for Marriage and heading up to Maine for a weekend to help out with the campaign.
Can you join them for a weekend - or two - in Maine? Click to sign up now and a United for Marriage organizer will be in touch with you soon.
