State of Freedom and Unity, Diversity and Respect

I believe that all persons deserve respect and dignity, and that all couples merit fair treatment under the law. I applaud the State of Vermont for its courage and leadership in passing the Civil Union Law. I support full legal recognition for committed same-sex couples, and I endorse The Marriage Resolution below. I'm proud of Vermont!

The Marriage Resolution

Because marriage is a basic human right and an individual personal choice,
Resolved, the State should not interfere with same-gender couples who choose to marry and share fully and equally in the rights,
responsibilities and commitment of civil marriage.

You may publish my name, occupation, town, county, generations in Vermont, and decade of age in newspaper ads or a brochure in support of The Marriage Resolution.
